The Rise In Substance Abuse Among Females Is Increasing In The US At An Alarming Rate.. Psychologist Theories And Conclusion On The Cause Of Substance Abuse I happen To Disagree On, But That Is Only My Opinion.
Throughout The World, Women Have Always Had A Lower Rate Of Addiction Than Men, But Worldwide Statistics Show Substance Abuse Among Women Is On The Rise.

My Opinion And Main Concern Is That I Think American Women Are In A Crisis, I Feel If We Exam What Led To This Than Perhaps We Can Begin To Make Positive Changes And Prevent This Situation Worldwide.

Women Are The Backbone Of The Family Structure. A Women's Natural Instinct  Is To Nurture Her Family And Protect Her Off Spring.
In America The Divorce Rate Is The Highest Worldwide, And The Younger Women In The Child Bearing Age Are Raising Children Alone. The 2013 US Census Data Shows That Today One-Third Of American Children - A Total Of 15 Million  Children - Are Being Raised Without A Father.

THE CRISIS IS SINGLE PARENTING WITH SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND ADDICTION IS ON THE RISE AND SO IS CHILD NEGLECT AND ABUSE

Alarming News Is There Is A Surge In Narcotic Prescription For Pregnant Women

THE RISE IN PARENTING ABUSE, USE, AND DEPENDENCE OF DRUGS AND ALCOHOL DOES AND IS HAVING A MAJOR NEGATIVE EFFECT ON MILLIONS OF CHILDREN.

                                                      

Many Families Have And Are Facing The Challenge Of Dealing With A Love One With A Substance Abuse Problem. I Am A Single Mother And My Son Was A Heroin Addict. There Is No Quick Fix But The Battle Can Be Won. My Son Was A Heroin Addict For 11 Years. He Is Now Straight Owns His Own Business And Is Getting Married To A Great Girl This May. I Am Proud Of Him.

My Son Had A Girlfriend In Which They Both Were Heroin Addicts. Her Situation Has Not Ended Up Well. She Got Married And Had 2 Children, Her Battle With Addiction Has Had An Negative Impact On Her Children. She Was A Mother Of One And The Child Was Taken Away And Put Into A Foster Home. She Straightened Out Got Her Child Back And She Had Her Second Child And For A Couple Years Or So, She Seemed To Be Doing Well.  I Thought This Is Great My Son And Her Finally Turned Their Lives Around And Both Are Doing Well. Recently, My Son Told Me She Got A Divorce And Did Heroin Again And Her Children Are Back In A Foster Home. That Was Heart Breaking News. My Prayers Are With Her And The Children.                                                                                                                                                          I Can Not Help But To Wonder How This  Effects Young Children 4 And 6 Years Old To Be Taken Away From Their Mother. It Has To Be Traumatic And Very Confusing For Them. They Are To Young To Understand. A Mother Is A Young Child's Only World.

I Know Another Young Woman  She Got Pregnant At 17 Years Old. She Had The Baby And Got An Apartment At The Age Of 18 And My Niece Moved In With Her. The Baby Was About 5 Months Old When My Niece Moved In. My Niece Lived With Her For 4 Months And Moved Out. The Young Mother Partied All The Time, The Baby Would Be Crying, Hungry And Wet. In Which The Baby Needed Her Diaper Changed And Fed. The Mother Would Either Be Sleeping Like A Rock From Partying All Night, Or Partying With A Room Full Of Friends Drunk And High. My Niece Would Take Care Of The Baby When She Was Home.  She Would Tell Me Many Time She'd Come Home From Work And The Baby Would Be Crying Her Little Face Was Red, Her Diaper Was Soaked And The Infant Was Starving.

THAT IS CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT AND THIS IS  HAPPENING ACROSS AMERICA EVERY DAY. WOMEN AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE IS ON THE RISE. 

 WOMEN IN CRISIS IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!!! WOMEN ARE IN NEED OF A WAKE UP CALL A KICK IN THE BEHIND AND BETTER YET, " IT'S TIME TO GET A SPIRITUAL INJECTION" 

                                                             

 

I Feel I Have Every Right To Express My Disappointment In Today's Women. I Am A Woman And A Single Mother, I Turned 19 In May And My Son Was Born In July. I Cooked The Bacon And Bought Home The Bacon. Yes, Being A Single Parent Your Juggling Alot At Once. Yes It Is Very Challenging, You Can Stand Up To The Plate And Handle The Challenge. I Did Not Graduate From High School I Was A Rebel And Thrown Out In The Eleventh Grade. With My Education Back Ground The Odds Were Against Me. But I Did Not Want Marriage As A Means Of Support. I Love My Child And God, So I Got The Eye Of The Tiger And I Ended Up Owning 2 Businesses. My First One Was At The Age Of 25 Years Old. It Was A Carpet Cleaning Business. Many Times I Wanted To Go And Party But I Knew My Child Dependent On Me And I Would Think About God And Smile. That Was My Strength.

I Need To Add My Son Did Not Turn Into A Heroin Addict Under My Watch. He Was 27 Years Old And I Stood Up To That Challenge. Which Was The Hardest One I Faced. It Is A "Worn Out Beat Your Butt Down, Dragged Out Battle". My Son And I Made It Through That Together.
